Funeral services for Paula Robledo, 101, will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St. at 10:00 a.m. A burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave.
Paula was born January 15, 1922 in Elgin, Texas to Merced Robledo Villarreal and Guadalupe Gonzalez Gonzalez and passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona.
Paula worked at Shriners Children Hospital for 28 years as an interpreter and a nurse’s aide. She loved her family, was very caring and always present to help anyone in need. Paula was an excellent seamstress, an outstanding cook and a devoted Catholic.
She is preceded in death by parents and her son, Raul Robledo. Her memory is survived by her sons, Robert Robledo and Rolando Robledo Sr.; daughters, Rosa Maria Robledo Jones and Ruth Robledo Martindale; multiple nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Robledo Jr., Raul Robeldo, Pat Rice, Tristan Robledo Davis, Rolando Robledo Jr. and Gabriel Hand.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana 71103.
