Funeral services for Donna Marie Merendino, 60, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026 at St. Michaels Chapel at St. John Berchmans Cathedral, 939 Jordan St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father James McLelland.
Donna was born on July 26, 1965 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Billy A. Merendino and Shirley S. Merendino and passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Donna was a graduate of Huntington High School. She was a loving aunt, who showered her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews with gifts. To know her was to love her and she will be truly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Billy A. Merendino; aunt, Rosalee Gurden; paternal grandparents, Toney and Josephine Merendino and maternal grandparents, Virgil Sepulvado and Bertha E. Pettigrew. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Shirley Merendino; brothers, Thomas Merendino and wife, Diana and Joseph Merendino; nieces, Meagan, Amber and Camille and nephew, Stephen.
Honoring Donna as pallbearers will be Stephen Merendino, Andrew Lackman, Anthony Toms, Allen Sepulvado, Jerry Davis and Luke Townsend.
