Andrea "Andy" Merendino

Andrea "Andy" Merendino, age 76, of Penns Grove, NJ, but currently residing in Rawlins, Wyoming, passed away on October 10, 2025. Born in Campobello Di Maraza in Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Salvatore Merendino and Giovanna Lombardo. In his earlier years, Andy worked many jobs including Tyco, Jimmy Montana's, Esso Gas, A & F Motors and BF Goodrich. For over 41 years, he was a maintenance worker at the McDonald's restaurant in Glassboro, NJ, from which he retired.
Andy is survived by his daughter Giovanna "Gioi" Maria Merendino Lamb and son in law Anthony "Tony" Lamb; his daughter Adriana "Annie" E. Hejl and son in law Benjamin "Ben" Hejl; his grandchildren Cora and Nathaniel "Nate" Hejl; his sisters Benvenuta "Tina" Merendino Robinson, Mattia "Maria" Merendino and Caterina "Rina" Merendino; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Francesca Merendino Rizzuto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, October 20, 2025 at St. Gabriel the Archangel, 369 Georgetown Road, Carneys Point, NJ 08069. There will be a visitation, also at the church, prior to mass from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will follow mass at Riverview Cemetery in Penns Grove, NJ.
