Paulette S. Byard, 74, of Princeton, KY passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 12:35 a.m. in Fort Campbell, KY.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Paducah, KY she was born June 20, 1951 the daughter of the late Paul McKinley Steger and Lillie Mae Steger. Mrs. Byard was a people person and never shy. She dressed to the nines and presented herself with elegance. During her life, she filled many shoes, especially in business administration. She sold Mary-Kay Cosmetics and did clerical work, as well as a multitude of other jobs. She attended First Christian Church in Princeton, KY. Her family fondly recalls her love of animals and "that time she almost burnt the house down while cooking rice."
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Richard Wayne Byard.
Survivors include her son: Richard M. Byard of Cauldwell County, KY.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Pennyroyal Hospice.
