Paulina Martinez

Paulina Martinez, born on June 21, 1934, in the serene town of Vieques, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 91. A devoted homemaker, Paulina dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home.

Known for her quiet demeanor, Paulina found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She spent countless hours immersed in the art of crochet, crafting beautiful pieces that became treasured keepsakes for her loved ones. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she found great comfort and wisdom in reading the Bible. Paulina also delighted in watching "The Price is Right," a show that brought her much enjoyment over the years.

Paulina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Lopez, Sr.; her cherished mother, Margarita Bonano; and her dear father, Anastacio Martinez. Her legacy of love and kindness continues through her surviving family: her son, Antonio Lopez, Jr., and his wife Carmen Lydia Ortiz; her daughters, Maria Crain and her husband Kevin, and Zina Worden and her husband David. She also leaves behind her grandsons, Michael Dimmick, Alejandro Lopez, and Amelio Lopez; her granddaughters, Selena Worden, Alina Milburn, and Alicia Preston; as well as twelve beloved great-grandchildren who will carry forward her memory and values.

Though her presence was gentle, Paulina's impact on those who knew her was profound. Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and quiet strength. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
