Pauline M Jagemann, age 93, former Manitowoc resident, died Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Sunset Woods Senior Living, New Berlin, WI.

She was born on April 16, 1932 in Iron River, Michigan, the daughter of the late Steve and Rose Gurchinoff. She grew up in Iron River with a family including 11 children. Pauline was a graduate of Stambaugh High School with the class of 1950. She moved to Manitowoc when she was 19 with her best friend Janet Turcotte (Spackman). On April 24, 1954, she married Paul G. Jagemann in Iron River, Michigan.

Pauline later owned and managed the Left End restaurant in the 1980s with her husband. She loved to cook without a recipe at home but eager to share recipes with others. She was a fashionista and often made many of her clothes and matching ones for her youngest. She was also a knitter, all-around crafter, bridge player and gardener. In the 90s and early aughts, Pauline had a business making custom shirts, and would gift you a shirt with your face on it for nearly any occasion. She loved to walk, go to the Y, and took up line dancing, which was documented in multiple The Nashville Network's Club Dance appearances in 1997.

She was an amateur photographer who always managed to capture the things most people forget (or would prefer to), like having a mouthful of a hamburger in a McDonald's Playplace. She loved to gamble and whether she was taking her chances on scratch-offs, the slots, or the Power Ball, she had the mantra, "take the money and run." She had many idioms, either invented or adopted.

She left an impressive Beanie Baby collection. She loved the Chicago Bulls and the Packers and even attended the Ice Bowl with her husband. Pauline was kind, observant, and funny. She dedicated her time to sharing her love and spent much of her life helping to raise her grandchildren, whom she gave enduring and silly nicknames.

Pauline is survived by her son Steven J. Jagemann, his children Jason, Ryan, Stephen (Danielle) and Alison Jagemann, Milwaukee; her daughter Brigitte A. Jagemann and her daughter Madison Jagemann, Sun Prairie; and daughter-in-law Nan Jagemann, Manitowoc, her children Erin (Robin) Bastian, Oconomowoc and Anthony Jagemann, Honolulu, HI, her grandchildren, Daniela Jagemann, New Orleans, LA, and Brendan Huddleston, Dallas, TX; two great- grandchildren Avery Bastian and Theodore Jagemann; her sister Lois Williams, Casselberry, FL, brother Thomas (Mary) Gurchinoff, Dollar Bay, MI; sisters-in-law Colien Gurchinoff, Anna Mae Logan and Barbara Jagemann.

Pauline was proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years: Paul G. Jagemann; her son Paul J.C. Jagemann; her daughter Jane M. Jagemann; daughter- in-law Judy Jagemann; son-in-law Andrew Lyerla; her siblings: Stanley (Ruth) Gurchinoff, Leo (Belva) Gurchinoff, James (Diana) Gurchinoff, Donald Gurchinoff, George (Nancy) Gurchinoff, Steve Gurchinoff, Peter Gurchinoff, Sylvia Esbrook, Leona (Jack) Benson and brother-in-law Merwyn Williams; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph C. Jagemann and Agnes L. (Hein) Jagemann, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joseph and Dorothy Jagemann, Arthur Jagemann, Robert Jagemann, Irving, Seiler, Kent Logan, Jane Seiler, Peggy Bessert, Mitzie and Allan Skrepenski, Therese and Greg Omernick and Mary Jagemann.
