Pauline Morales 76, beloved mother, grandmother (aka Mami) and life partner to Antonio was called to her eternal resting place on March 1, 2025. She entered this world on June 25, 1948, in Manzano, New Mexico, born to Martin and Clarita Lopez. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tabitha, brothers Manuel, Isaias, Francisco, Nazario, Lorenzo, Albino, and Sisters Maria and Oralia.
She is survived by her son Lawrence, daughter-in-law Crecia, daughters Denise Brito and son-in-law Freddy, Michelle Griego and son-in-law Tony, Mary Trujillo and son-in-law Rod, and Rosa Armijo. She has 15 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Iesha, Joshua, Monique, Christian, Isabella, Eli, Jasmine, Ashley, Mark, Yvonne, Samantha, Lawrence and Miguel. She also has 14 great grandchildren, Malakai, Diego, Maia, Benjamin, Gianna, Ace, Tyler, Bruce, Myra, Hope, Corvis, Isaiah, Uriah and Elijah. Her brothers Ted Lopez, and sister-in-law, Stella, William Saavedra, and sister in law Paloma, Wilfred Lopez, and sister Christela Chavez, and brother-in-law Larry. She had many loving and caring nieces and nephews. She was fortunate to have a childhood friend, Clara. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, making puzzles, painting, dancing and playing lotería. Her warmth, wisdom and unwavering love for her family, created a lasting impact. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, with the viewing to begin at 10:00 am, the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 am, and Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque 87121. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
