Pauline "Paula" Theresa Rivet Cable Cammarata Marcotte was born on August 01, 1937, to Paul Rivet and Lillian Shaw at Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut.

She was a vivacious woman, full of fun, laughter, and a love for sharing time and connecting with people. In her youth, she waitressed at Hamp’s restaurant in Bristol, Connecticut, but changed careers, moved to New Hampshire, and went to school to earn her certification as a Licensed Nursing Assistant. She spent many years working at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon and brought hilarity and comfort to the people she cared for.

She loved cooking, dancing, riding her motorcycle, and sitting ‘shot-gun’ in her old convertible on sunny days. Pauline was known for her fondness of roses and Black-eyed Susans that she had growing on her property, watching the birds, knitting, quilting, and inhaling the rich pine smell of the lumber yard on the road to her former home in Springfield. There, she was famous for having filled an entire guest room with an extensive Winnie the Pooh collection that she maintained for all the youth in her family to enjoy when they would visit.

As woman who loved the water, Paula cherished taking her grandchildren to Old Orchard Beach or to swim at Lake Kolelemook. She will be remembered for her big sunbonnets secured with a scarf, oversized sunglasses, and for never wading further than knee-deep in the water. Her vast collection of seashells, that she collected with others over the years, filled the jars and lamps that decorated her space.

Paula had a radiant smile, an infectious laugh, and a knack for making people feel special. Everyone was “Hunny” to her. She inspired others with her fearlessness, creativity, authenticity, charm, and unique sense of humor. She brought immeasurable joy into the lives of others and is irreplaceable in our hearts; she will forever be missed but will continue to live in the memories of all who knew and loved her.

Pauline Theresa Rivet Cable Cammarata Marcotte departed this life on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her residence in Boscawen, New Hampshire. She was preceded in passing by her siblings: Diana Durk, Ronald Rivet, Alan Rivet, and Arthur Rivet; and by her sons: Freddie Cable and Ronald Cammarata.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her sister, Joyce Rousseau; children: Brian Cable, Cheryl Cable, Michelle Cable, Mark Cammarata, Vincent Cammarata Jr., and Christopher Cammarata; two stepchildren; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and countless other family members and friends.
