Ms. Pauline Outlaw Peterson, 86, of Elizabethtown went to her heavenly home on the morning of June 5, 2025, while at Columbus Regional Healthcare System. She was born on November 29, 1938, the daughter of the late James Leon Outlaw and Kate Carter Outlaw.
Ms. Pauline was a compassionate lady with a sweet disposition who enjoyed sharing the love of the Lord with everyone she met. Her gentle spirit, devotion to the Lord, as well as her family and friends will live on in the beautiful memories of everyone that loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, devoted husband James Walter Peterson, daughter Linda Carol Davis, brother, Earl Ray Outlaw and grandson, Mark Peterson. Left to cherish her beautiful memory are son, Billy Ray Averitt and wife Linda of Bladenboro, stepchildren James Peterson of Elizabethtown, Paul Peterson of Elizabethtown, and Patricia P. Johnson of Elizabethtown, siblings, James Elbert Outlaw of Bladenboro, J.L. Outlaw of Fayetteville, Merle Outlaw Stevens of Grays Creek, Fay Outlaw of Elizabethtown, and Grey Woodburn of Elizabethtown. She was also survived by grandchildren Cindy Lynn Averitt and Kathleen Davis, step grandchildren Savanna Platt and Ross Johnson, great grandson, Phoenix Davis, step great grandchildren James Hand, Jordan Williams and Mason Williams.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 8th at 3 pm in the Bladen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
