Graveside Service for Mrs. Pauline Ann Svacek Stearns, 70, of Panama City, will be Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 1:30 pm at the Seman Congregation Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on May 1, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Seman Congregation Christian Church.
Pauline Ann Svacek Stearns, known affectionately as Pauline to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, in Panama City, Florida. Born on May 20, 1953, in West, Texas, Pauline's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched all who knew her throughout her 70 years of life.
Pauline's journey began as a beloved daughter to Raymond Rudolph Svacek and Loretta Marie Svacek, and she grew up alongside her twin brother, Paul. While she cherished her childhood memories, it was her own family and the life she built with her devoted husband, Allen Stearns, that became the cornerstone of her happiness. Together, they formed a blended family that included her sons, Keith (Angela) Hudson and Clay (Carla) Hudson; stepchildren, Dovie (Matt) Chaney, Frank (Monica) Stearns, and Marilyn (Geoffrey) Harrelson; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Hudson, Grace Hudson, Allen Chaney, Marilyn Chaney, Elizabeth (James) Harader, Juliet Stearns, Jared Stearns, and Russell Schuller; and her twin brother, Paul (Lynda) Svacek. Her love and legacy will continue to thrive within them.
Before retiring, Pauline's professional life was marked by dedication and purpose. She had a fulfilling career at Sallie Mae, followed by a significant role at the Bay County Supervisor of Elections. In both her professional and personal life, she was known for her loving, friendly, and passionate nature, which earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and the broader community.
Pauline's interests and hobbies were a reflection of her zest for life and her love for the simple pleasures. She found joy in the tranquility of the beach and the companionship of animals. Her skills in the kitchen were unmatched, and she delighted in cooking and baking for her loved ones, especially during the holidays. Pauline's love for reading and crafting allowed her to explore new worlds and express her creativity. Above all, her love for her family was fierce and unwavering. She was a pillar of strength and warmth, a great wife, mother, and grandmother whose influence will be felt for generations to come.
Those who knew Pauline will remember her as an amazing person who made friends easily and was loved immensely. Her ability to live life to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and joy, was truly remarkable. She was the kind of person who could light up a room with her presence and leave an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered.
Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Rudolph Svacek; her mother, Loretta Marie Svacek; and her brother, Robert Svacek. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and the countless friends and community members whose lives she touched.
As we bid farewell to Pauline Ann Svacek Stearns, we celebrate a life lived with love, friendship, and passion. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her legacy will endure through the many lives she has shaped. Pauline's story is not one of an ending, but a beautiful reminder of the impact one life can have on so many.
In honoring Pauline's memory, we reflect on the cherished moments, the laughter shared, and the love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her journey on this earth was a testament to the beauty of a life well-lived, and she will be deeply missed.
