Pauline J. Steineck, 90, of Mineral City, passed away peacefully at The Inn at Northwood Village in Dover on February 17, 2025 following a period of declining health.
Born in Dover on October 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Clemens E. "Clem" and Gertrude Estella (Grund) Locker.
After completing her formal education, Pauline married the late Donald Albert Steineck. Together, they were blessed with the birth of their children Val and Don, Jr.
Pauline worked for Strasburg Provision for more than 30 years prior to retirement. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Bennett) Roth; son, Donald A. Steineck, Jr.; grandchildren, Steve, Matt, and Lindsay; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Marlene and Faye.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing by 15 siblings.
No public visitation or services are scheduled. Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
