Pauline Logan Williams

11/26/1927 – 9/24/2025

Pauline Logan Williams of Lewisville, Texas was called to her eternal home on September 24, 2025, at the age of 97. Pauline was born in Caddo Gap, Arkansas but grew up near Waco, Texas. She was the youngest of 8 children. When she was 19 she met the love of her life, Carl Williams, on a blind date. Carl was a sergeant in the army stationed at nearby Ft. Hood. A year later in 1947, they married and spent 53 wonderful years together.

Pauline and Carl moved to Dallas in 1950 and that same year they welcomed their first child, Paulette. In 1956, their son Gary was born. The family moved to Duncanville, Texas in 1962 where they lived for the next 32 years. Pauline was a dedicated stay-at-home mom who provided encouragement and guidance to her children throughout her life. After 17 years of being a stay-at-home mom, Pauline went into the childcare business. She worked at Kiddie Korner School for 14 years and was the Administrator for 10 years. She made many friends during that time and enjoyed working with the children. She retired in 1992 to become a full-time caretaker for Carl who had developed Alzheimer's. In 1994, Pauline and Carl moved to Lewisville, Texas to be closer to her son. Carl eventually succumbed to Alzheimer's and died in 2000.

Pauline was a devoted Christian. The church was a focal point throughout her life. She was a devout Baptist and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Duncanville for 25 years where she taught Sunday school classes and Carl served as a Deacon. When she moved to Lewisville she joined the First Baptist Church of Lewisville where she led the senior adults group (M.A.G.I.C.) for many years and was very involved all church activities. She loved her church family and was active for over 29 years and continued to go each Sunday well into her 90's until she was no longer able to attend due to health reasons.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and by her daughter, Paulette. Pauline is survived by her son Gary and daughter-in-law Jill, along with 3 grandchildren – Tiffany, Rachel and Ryan and 2 great-grandchildren – Caitlyn and Colby and 1 great-great-grandchild – Logan.

"A mother's love never ends. Though she may be gone from our sight, her love continues to shape us, guide us, and live on through every life she touched."
