Pauline Wright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Davis Funeral Home - Roxbury on Jul. 26, 2024.
Pauline A. (Spriggs) Wright, passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 80. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Pauline was full of life and dazzled
everyone with her amazing smile and wonderful sense of humor.
Pauline was born on June 30, 1944, at Boston City Hospital in Boston, MA. She spent most her life living in Boston where she raised her son Bryan. Pauline was a graduate of the Jeremiah
Burke High School and later graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business. She also earned a Bible certificate from Bethel Bible Institute in 1995. Evangelist Pauline loved the Lord and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever she went. She led her sister Barbara Anne to Christ in which Barbara is forever grateful that Pauline did not give up on her. If Pauline was not sitting on the pulpit, she was sitting in the front row and can be heard saying "Amen" or "preach Preacher." She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.
Pauline was a devoted mother. Bryan loving called her 'mummie.' Pauline kept Bryan off the streets by having him involved with after-school programs, camps, and church all which he always remembered fondly. She was an activist and believed in taking care of the homeless and others in need of help. She also loved animals and would spend hours walking stray dogs in the neighborhood. She loved her grandchild and all her siblings and being a part of their lives.
Pauline is preceded by her father Thomas Kenneth Spriggs, mother Mary Puller Spriggs, brothers, Robert, Lawrence, Melvin, Edward, Charles, sisters Mary and Rebecca, and son Bryan Bernard Spriggs. She is survived by her siblings, Lucille, Barbara, and James, her
daughter-in-law Cheryl, and grandchildren Xavier and Jateja, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives, along with friends who loved her. Pauline's memory will always be cherished by those who knew her.
