Pavel Shnayder

Pavel Shnayder, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by his family on September 13, 2025. Beloved husband of 59 years to Alla Shnayder. Loving father of Nancy Shnayder (Herb Carter) and Alex Shnayder (Theresa, née Birney). Adored grandfather of Noah, Olivia, Jake Vulakh, Katerina Bekmansurov and the late Lance Abrams.

Pavel was born on March 17, 1942, in Odessa, Ukraine, when it was still part of the USSR. In 1978, he immigrated to the United States with his beloved wife, Alla, and their two children, determined to provide them with opportunities for a brighter future. He worked tirelessly, often taking multiple shifts and side jobs, to ensure that his family had a better life than he did.

Pavel was known for his resourcefulness and skill—there was little he could not fix or tinker with. Yet his greatest passion was fishing, a pastime he loved deeply and pursued whenever he could. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, whose love and closeness brought him his greatest joy.

Family and friends are invited to funeral services on Friday, September 19, 2025, 11:30am at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966.
