Payton Rae Williams (1979-2024)
Payton Rae Williams, 44, of Pearl, passed away in Jackson on Monday, May 6, 2024.
Although Payton’s adventurous life was short, she lived it to the fullest.
Payton was known for her compassionate nature, uplifting spirit, and unique sense of humor. Payton’s personality brought warmth, acceptance, and laughter to those she encountered. As an overcomer, she offered words of encouragement and comfort to whomever needed it. Payton’s memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who knew her, inspiring them with her kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
Payton was predeceased in death by her father William (Bill) Gallagher and her mother Pam White. She is survived by her sister Tricia McVeay-Meyers (Danny), her nephew David McVeay, half-siblings Hank Wentworth and Amy Lara, stepmother Becky Gallagher, stepsisters Lisa Crawford and April Pohl, as well as cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at Ott & Lee in Brandon on May 18, 2024. Visitation will begin at 11 am with a memorial service following at noon.
