Lillian Pearl Crews Batton, 97, of Homeland, GA passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Brunswick, GA. She was born April 9, 1928 in Charlton County to the late William and Effie Celia Lowther Crews. She was a member of Grace Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Emory Milton Batton, Jr.; her daughter: Gayle Batton; sisters: Mildred Johnson, Lorene Carter, Josephine Crews and Janie Carter; brothers: Nathan Crews, Owen Crews and Oscar Crews; and son-in-law: Jamey O’Steen.
She is survived by her children: Joe Batton, Cathy (Bruce) Flansburg, Billy (Lynette) Batton and Julie O’Steen; her grandchildren: Michael (Loretta) Jones, Jennifer (Joe Carter) Jones, Katie (Dylan) Mulkey, Lilli (C.J.) Smith, Derric (Brittany) Batton and Tanner O’Steen; her great grandchildren: Bria (Brandon) Cox, Bryan (fiancé Sydney) Rowell, Jaycee Rowell (David Taft), Bric Batton, Bleu Batton, Buck Batton, Beau Batton and William Smith; a sister-in-law: Mary Helen (Will) Davis and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 3 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 4 at noon at Grace Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor John Boatright and Pastor Ronnie Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Jones, Bryan Rowell, Derric Batton, Dylan Mulkey, C.J. Smith and Tanner O’Steen.
