Pearl McBunch Obituary

Pearl Boyd McBunch passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at the age of 89. She was born on October 29, 1934 in Ruth, Mississippi to Lacy L. Boyd and Lois Smith Boyd. Pearl attended Istrouma High School and married her husband, James H. McBunch on December 30, 1954. She enjoyed 52 years of marriage before he passed. In addition to raising her family, Pearl worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Zachary, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her granddaughter, Brandy Michelle McMills. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" McBunch McMills and husband, Jeff McMills; her son, James Clay McBunch and wife, Lisa Dominguez McBunch; her grandchildren, Christina McBunch Mahen and husband, Alan, Kellie McBunch, Danielle Vinet and husband, Jared, Brittany McMills Anderson and husband, Cody, and Brandy Leigh McMills; and her great-grandchildren, James and Luke Mahen, Amelia and Charlotte Vinet and Emma and Harper Anderson. A private graveside was held for her family at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
