Pearlie Williams Obituary

It is with deep love and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pearlie Juanita Williams, who entered eternal rest on September 1, 2025, at the blessed age of 96.
Pearlie Juanita was born December 21, 1928, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late Willie and Ollie Robinson. She was the eldest of six children, growing up with her brothers Willie Lee Jr., Clyde, Billy, Louis, and Robert Robinson. From her earliest days, she carried herself with strength, grace, and compassion.
She was united in marriage to the late Alfred Williams, Sr.. To this union, three children were born: Marian, Alfred Jr., and Brenda. She devoted her life to her family, her church, and her community.
Juanita worked as a domestic worker, serving with dignity, humility, and love throughout her life. She was a faithful woman of God, a longtime devoted member of Anderson Chapel AME Church, and in the latter part of her life, she joined St. Paul Baptist Church.
Her life was a testimony of faith and service to God and others. She had a smile that could light up any room, a spirit that welcomed all, and a gift for cooking that brought family and friends together around the table.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Alfred Williams, Sr., her son, Alfred Williams, Jr., her parents, and several of her siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Marian Manley and Brenda Bonsu (Glen); her brother Rev. Billy Robinson (Gertrude); five grandchildren-Marcine M. Moore, Dathan Manley
(Angel), Makeba Bonsu, Sadat Bonsu, and Ashanti Bonsu; seven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Though ninety-six years feels too short for those who loved her, we celebrate her long and beautiful life with gratitude. Pearlie Juanita Williams has now taken her well-deserved rest and wears her eternal crown

My condolences for your loss. Juanita worked for my mother Polly Cox for a long time. In recent years I was blessed to find her on my Meals On Wheels list. She was such a cheerful, grace-filled lady. It was an honor to know her.
