Pearline Mapes Obituary
Pearline Kay Mapes passed away peacefully at her home on December 30, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born on August 17, 1955 in Stillwater Oklahoma to Bernie and Joy Hughes. Pearline grew up in Liberal, Kansas, where she spent her early years before moving to Muskogee, Oklahoma the summer of her senior year. She shared a remarkable life with her beloved husband, Michael Eugene Mapes to whom she was married for 49 years. Together, they built a loving family and cherished many memories.
Pearline is survived by her three children; Paul Mapes and wife Lisa, their sons Ethan and Aidan; Michele Albright and husband Mathew, their sons Zachery, Ezekiel and Isaac, daughter Madison; Sherry Poage and husband T.J, their daughters Lily, Tory and Zoey. Her Mother Joy Hughes, siblings Tom Hughes, Mary Dean and Linda Webb. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernie Hughes; her brother, Frank Hughes; her sister, Gwen and her husband, Michael Mapes.
Pearline's warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind..
