Few people in life have the opportunity to make the impact on a community that Ms. Troutman made. In the children she taught all she saw was beauty and potential. Ms. Pearlye promoted and supported her students throughout their entire lives. Her own three children have proven that a mother's love has no bounds. All three are shining examples of maximizing talent, skills, and pride of family, culture and community. God has blessed everyone who was fortunate enough to have crossed Ms. Troutman's path. Memories which Ms. Pearlye cultivated are as many as the stars in heaven ~ her story (and stories) will be passed down through the generations. Henry, God bless you.

We are all blessed with a purpose to pursue in life, Mrs. Troutman dutifully pursued her purpose, impacting lives became her way of life and she did so with class, dignity and the respect of so many of her beloved students. Mr. Troutman, Tracey, Terry, and Toni we truly are so sorry for your loss. There are no words that can comfort such a loss like this. Our hearts are hurting with yours. She was such a classy woman, with her very own quiet sense of style. And, more so, she was a wife, mother, and great teacher who would call you out in class in her very own funny way.
Although we hate to see her go, we all can rejoice in the moments we had with her in life. Your mother - wife lived a great life; raised three children that she can be proud of, and she made a positive impact on the lives of many like myself who had her as a fifth grade teacher at Wilcox Elementary School.
