PEDRO KINISKY HERNANDEZ

March 29, 1947 - October 21, 2025

Pedro Kinisky Hernandez, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on March 29, 1947, to Maria Kinisky and Merced Hernandez.

Pedro was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Angelita Hernandez, who passed away in 2010. He is survived by his son, Pedro M. Hernandez; his daughter, Michelle Hernandez; five grandchildren: Matthew Gallardo, Brianna Gonzales, Jonathon Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, and Gia Gonzalez ; and three great-grandchildren: Jazlyn Chagolla, Ace Gonzales, and Jaime Rodriguez, all of whom brought him endless pride and joy.

A proud veteran, Pedro will be honored with military rites during his services. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Liturgy of the Word at 11:30 a.m. at Jeter & Son Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Military honors and interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Pedro was known for his love of music, his enjoyment of family gatherings and backyard barbecues, and his laid-back spirit when it came time to simply "chill out." He brought laughter and warmth wherever he went-and anyone who knew him will fondly remember his famous dislike for the Cowboys football team, a fact he made sure no one ever forgot.

Pedro will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love, laughter, and gratitude by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
