Pedro Perez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Woodstock on Feb. 9, 2026.
Pedro J. Perez Sr., born on March 14, 1947, in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, lived a life full of laughter,

generosity, and deep devotion to family and friends. One of twelve siblings, Pedro learned early the

value of family, connection, and looking out for one another. At a young age, he moved to New York

and settled in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where he began building the life and career he was so proud

of.

Pedro later split his time between New York and Georgia, where he eventually retired after many

dedicated years as an aircraft mechanic with Pan Am and Delta Airlines. He took great pride in his

work and was known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail. Yet, what people will

remember most was his personality - Pedro was funny, warm, and always giving. He made it a point

to check in on friends and family, never missing a chance to call, joke, or make sure everyone was

doing okay. He was a champ - strong, dependable, and someone everyone could count on.

A devoted New York Mets fan and a passionate music lover, Pedro enjoyed the Rolling Stones and El

Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. He loved to travel, share stories of his adventures, and embrace life

with curiosity and joy.

Above all, Pedro was a loving husband, dad, and family man. He is survived by his beloved wife,

Aida; his five children, Pedro, Wally, Kenneth, Lisha, and Leah; as well as his cherished

grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Pedro passed away on February 4, 2026, in Georgia.

Pedro will be remembered for his kindness, humor, generous heart, and the way he showed up for

the people he loved. He was a champ in every sense of the word. He was deeply loved and will be

forever missed.
