Passed away on November 29, 2025. He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. Pedro was born in the City of Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico, on December 27, 1932, to Altagracia del Villar and Pedro Manuel Prieto. Pedro enjoyed many things in life and was passionately devoted to his hobbies and interests. He enjoyed watching box every weekend, and listening to the local, national and international news, having long conversations with friends and family members about it. His ultimate passion was gardening. He was a savvy businessman, managed most of his life a shoes store in Mexico and traveling to many state fairs in the country, having a shoes exposition stand, until he moved to California where he had several jobs in the City of San Francisco, California, his last job was in the famous Fremont hotel in San Francisco, after his retirement he moved to the City of McAllen, Texas. Pedro is survived by his wife of 70 years, Maria Guadalupe and a blended family of (9) children, (13) grandchildren and (3) great grandchildren. One brother and sister. He was preceded in passing by his father, mother, two brothers, a sister, and three of Pedro's children. Pedro will be greatly missed but will live on in our hearts and memories.
