Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sioux Funeral Home on Jul. 31, 2024.
Pedro Matthew Sharp Fish, "Isna Wica" was born on September 27, 1940 in Drywood to Alfred Sharp Fish and Victoria Spider Back Bone. Pedro made his journey to the Spirit World on July 28, 2024 at his home in Oglala, SD.
He began work as a ranch hand for several years. Then he worked as a mechanic at Hemingway Gas Station. In 1977 to 1979 he worked in Law Enforcement. In 1979 he started working at Red Cloud Indian School where he retired in 2004. In 1971 he became an elderly in the First Body of Christ Church. In 1981 he moved up to Apostle where he remained until the Lord called him home. He was a faithful servant to his ministry and always willing to pray when called upon.
He enjoyed rodeo, horseback riding, powwows, crossword and word finds, puzzles and cards while listening to KILI Radio. HE always had a garden. At anytime of day you would see him driving on HWY 18 either to Pine Ridge, Allen or the casino. He also liked to visit with family and friends. He enjoyed his grandkids of which are many. He encouraged them to go to school, work, be happy and pray.
We as a family are very blessed to have had him as a Dad, Uncle, Brother and Grandfather. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
