Pedro V. Silva

Pedro V. Silva, 69, of Clinton, CT entered into the gates of Heaven on Friday, January 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by his adoring family. He was the loving husband of Judith M. (Chilin) Silva whom he had been married to for 37 years.

Pedro was born on August 11, 1956, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, son of the late Manuel DaSilva and Maria Barros Brandao. He cherished spending time with his family, and his greatest joy was being surrounded by those he loved most. He was also a proud business owner of Stephy LLC, a role he held with dedication and hard work. Back in his native country, he was an elementary school teacher and he also played drums with a local band. Pedro enjoyed fixing and building things with his hands. He remolded many homes including his residence in Clinton. He had sophisticated taste and enjoyed adding order and style to all aspects of his life.

Besides his wife Judith, he leaves to honor and cherish his memory, his children Sonia Silva, Paulo Jorge Silva, Bruno Silva, Sandra Silva, Paula Silva, Alisha Silva, Geisa Silva, and Stephanie San Miguel. He also leaves behind his siblings, Emily, Maria, Pedro P., Clarimundo, Manuel F., Iva, Teodora, Josefina, Carlos, Manuel A., Lilica, Ildo, and Sebastiao, as well as grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and countless friends and relatives. He was preceded by his son Antonio Pedro Silva, and two siblings, Ava and Henrique.

Arrangements: Calling hours for Pedro will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, 59 Sheffield Street, Old Saybrook, CT. Friends and family can meet directly at Pedro's home at 10 am to proceed together or meet directly at the cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
