Peggy Sue Allen-Barton, age 66, of Taylorsville, passed away June 19, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Indiana, on February 8, 1959, to Sonny Allen and Ruby (Meadows) Repp.
Peggy retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections in 2018, a career spanning thirty-two years, five months, and twenty-two days. She worked at the Indiana Boys School, later named the Plainfield Juvenile Correctional Facility, from 1985 until 1995 when she moved to the Central Office at the Indiana Government Center South, Operational Support Services Division, and the Offender Accountability in the Department of Corrections, Jail Movement and Jail Billing.
A celebration of life is pending.
