Peggy Jean Ames, 72, of Biloxi, MS passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023. Peggy was born in Mobile, AL on August 16, 1950 to Lottie Adele Richerson and William Albert Foehl.

Peggy graduated from Murphy High School. Later, she attended 20th Century College where she studied business for two years. Peggy worked as an accountant for the Sheraton Hotel. She was also a volunteer at the Fort Conde Visitors Center and was a rape crisis counselor.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lottie Adele Richerson and William Albert Foehl; brother, William David Foehl; and her beloved cat, Zoe Louise.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna Catrina Jackson and her husband, David and their children, Noel Smith and Sophia Jackson; and her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hicks and her husband, Edward and their children, Alexander and Jacob Hicks.

Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Peggy Jean Ames.
