Peggy L. Asmus, 76, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her residence with family by her side. She was born on May 5, 1949, in Park Falls, WI, the daughter of Charles and Laura (McCarthy) Johnson. Peggy graduated from L.P. Goodrich in 1967. On September 23, 1967, she married David Asmus in Fond du Lac. She worked at Bestt Rollr for 30 plus years and later at U.S. Bank in Oshkosh until her retirement. In her younger years, Peggy enjoyed bowling, pool, reading, and puzzles. Later on in life, she enjoyed playing golf. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends on summer vacations at Lost Lake in St. Germain.
She is survived by her husband, David; two daughters, Tina (Mike) Andrew and Micky (Charley) Pitzrick; six grandchildren, Logan (fiancée, Leeah Justman) Andrew, Killian (Brendan) Grabowski, Austin (Allison) Losse, Kaden Pitzrick, Anthony Pitzrick, and Brittany Pitzrick; two great grandchildren, Owen and Lenix; brother, John (Jenny) Johnson; sister, Penny (Dale) Manthey; brothers and sisters-in-law; godchild, Amanda Manthey; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Laura; two sisters, Judy Snyder and Jeanne Ryan; father and mother-in-law, Norman and Joyce Asmus; and three brothers-in-law, Lee Asmus, Jeffrey Asmus, and Donald Asmus.
At Peggy’s request, no services will take place. Cremation has taken place.
