Peggy Carol Baggett, born December 4, 1947, went to sit at the feet of her heavenly father on October 3, 2025.
Peggy was a devoted animal lover whose gentle spirit will be deeply missed by her cherished dog, Bridgett, and her beloved cat, Miss Kitty. A lifelong member of the Church of God of Prophecy, she dedicated much of her life to sharing the gospel and serving her faith community. Above all, Peggy treasured her family and friends, always offering kindness, support, and a helping hand to those in need.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years, Arthur M. Baggett, Sr.; sons, Arthur (Artie) Baggett, Jr., and Jeffrey G. Baggett (Trudy); grandchildren, Luke Johnson, Tiffany Baggett, and Travis Baggett; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Mackenzie, Riley, Abigail and two bonus great-grandchildren Waylen and Weston.
A funeral service will be held at the Church of God of Prophecy in Suffolk, VA on Friday October 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM, followed by a burial at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors the night prior, Thursday October 9, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at R. W. Baker & Co Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel.
