Peggy Ann Berry

Funeral services for Peggy Berry, 72 of Giddings, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Giddings with Pastor Caleb Crouch officiating. Burial will follow at the Giddings City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Peggy was born on August 18, 1953, in Freer, Texas to Albert and Lorene (Waythe) Kuehn.

Peggy graduated from high school in 1971 and married the love of her life Joe Berry on February 28, 1975 in Rockport, Texas. Together they were blessed by the heavenly father with two children, Casey and Tia. Peggy also had two beloved step-sons, Jon and Joe. She was baptized in May of 1976 in the bay at Ingleside on the Bay. Peggy loved running Miss Peggy's and taking care of all the children through the years. She had many hobbies such as cruising, playing dominoes, mexican train, camping, going to church, coloring pictures, mowing the grass, but above all she loved spending time with family and friends.

Peggy Berry passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy is preceded in death by parents, Albert and Lorene (Waythe) Kuehn; stepfather, Albert Edward Falke and sister, Francis Wheeler.

Peggy is survived by husband, Joe Berry of Giddings; sons, Casey Joe and his wife Alejandra Berry of California, Jon Dale Berry of Bay Cliff and Joe Dion Berry of Illinois; daughter, Tia and her husband Jeffery Talley of Sugarland; grandchildren, Leilani and Ariel Berry of California, Elizabeth and her husband Colby Fore of Spring, Emma and Eden Talley of Sugarland, Joe B. Berry of Arkansas, Angel Lawder of Illinois, Julia, Jon, Dallas, Brandon, Devin, Logan, and Olivia Berry of Illinois, Joanna Berry of Florida; nephew, Rodney and Tonya Kessel of Giddings; nieces, Rhonda and Mike Phelan of Sugarland, and Rashel and Bruce Carrico of Ledbetter. As well as numerous great grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Talley, Mike Phelan, John Schimank, Joe Berry, Jon Berry and Rodney Kessel. Honorary pallbearers are Paxton Schimank, and Dawson Schimank.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or to the charity of ones choice.
