Peggy Ann Theriot Bourque, 75, of Sulphur, passed away on December 28, 2025, surrounded by her children. She spent over 30 years as a legal secretary and a lifetime being a wife, mother and grandmother. Peggy was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Sulphur. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, music and working in the yard.
Peggy is survived by her children, Sean O. Bourque and wife, Erika, Candace E. Demary and husband, Thomas and Christina L. Bourque; her grandchildren, Dylan Henrich, Taylor Breaux (Jean), Logan Bourque (Allie), Brein and Clyde Boswell, Alexa and Maizie Demary, Trey Young and Owen Bourque; her great grandchildren, Colt and Hudson Bourque, Olivia and Tate Breaux, Bella Ware and Ellie Bourque; her brothers, Jackie Wayne Theriot and wife Carolyn and George Hank Theriot and wife, Lisa; sisters in law, Paula Spano and husband, Johnny and Cindy Benoit and husband, Gerald; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Allen Wayne Bourque; her son, Allen Wayne Bourque, Jr.; parents, Edison J. and Deena A. Theriot; and her in laws, Allen and Ruby Bourque.
Memorial services for Peggy will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2025, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church at 1:00 P.M. The family would like to thank Trisha Drost, Mary King and numerous friends that continued to help throughout her illness. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur.
