Peggy Branch

Mrs. Peggy Harris Branch, age 84, formally of Teal Road, Union and widow of Brother Robert Branch went home to be with her Savior and Lord on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Mrs. Branch was born in Union, a daughter of the late William Douglas and Lucille Vaughan Harris.
Mrs. Branch was a 1958 graduate of Jonesville High School, then went on to school and graduated from Weaver Airline School, Kansas City, MO. She went to work for Eastern Air Lines in Atlanta, GA in 1959. Mrs. Branch was employed for a total of nine years, both in Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. She was also employed at Wallace Thomson Hospital in 1974-1975 in Union. She was a devoted Pastor's wife for fifty years; enjoyed singing and writing songs and poems, also recording many songs and published two poem books.
Surviving are a sister, Betty J. Pridemore; four special nieces, Tammy Jones, Robin Belue and husband Jimmy, Renae Duncan and husband, Jimmy, Sherry Brown and husband, Jerry; a special nephew Rickey Pridemore and wife, Tammy; a number of great nephews and great nieces and a number of great-great nieces and one great-great-great niece. She was predeceased by a brother, James D. Harris; a sister, Mary Virginia Harris and a brother-in-law, Earl Pridemore.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 13 at Union Memorial Gardens, conducted by Pastor Charles Hutcheson.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at the cemetery.
