Peggy Cosey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Inc. - Clinton on Dec. 7, 2024.
Heaven gained another angel. Peggy Yarber Cosey went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was a dearly loved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, partner, and friend to everyone who knew her. She enjoyed being around people and had a great sense of humor. She was known for her heart of gold, and everybody loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Eddie) Brown of Knoxville and Lisa Leadbetter of Sevierville, her partner of 30 years, Roger Boling, grandchildren Al (Jessica) and Bryan Munsey, Matthew (Ashley) Leadbetter, great grandchildren Riley, Lacey, Austin, Axl, Ellie, Allie Munsey, Kylie and Riley Smith, Houston, Maci, Allie and Grayson Leadbetter and great-great grandson Tiyrynn. Brother Marvin (Rachel) Yarber and Betty Jo (Ed) Carter. Several nieces and nephews and host several friends. She is preceded in death by father and mother William and Leo Yarber, brothers: James Yarber, Gene Yarber, Bill Yarber, and Watson Yarber, sisters: Jewel Golden and Ruby Hayes, grandson Christopher Munsey, son in law Phil Leadbetter.
Peggy enjoyed working with her flower and vegetable gardens and had 2 green thumbs. She kept us all supplied with tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers. She also enjoyed canning vegetables to share with all her family and loved ones. She had a booth at Flea Traders Paradise where she sold wigs and hair pieces among other things. She also used to make and sell handmade porcelain dolls along with life-sized carousels. She enjoyed working with her customers by fitting them with wigs and enjoyed meeting several people who came by her booth. She would actually give people who had cancer, wigs and would never charge them. She had lots of friends all over the states who she met at the flea market and all the friends that she made at the flea market (other vendors). Peggy will be missed so much, life just won't be the same without her, she touched so many lives. She is now with God and is no longer suffering. We will all meet again one day. I'm sure she had a great heavenly meeting reuniting with her family and loved ones who passed before her. Pastor Steven Mouzon will be officiating both services.
The family will receive family and friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, December 9, 2024 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, Tennessee, with services to follow. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Farmers Grove Baptist Church in Clinton, Tennessee. Pastor Steve Mouzon will be officiating both services.
