Peggy Lee Fludd, fifty-seven years old, of Ridgeland, went to be with her Lord on April 3, 2025.
She was born on May 9, 1967 in Ridgeland Hospital to the late Luke and Jean Fludd.
Peggy was a 1985 graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy. Shortly after, she was employed by Root Hill Nursery in Bluffton, where she did nursery and landscape work. Later, she worked at Beach and Tennis of Hilton Head Island, working outside and landscaping. To say Peggy loved the great outdoors was truly an understatement. After her parents bought Jones Feed and Seed of Ridgeland, one could find Peggy working there as well. It gave her great satisfaction to help her parents as well as the customers.
She was one of the kindest people you'd ever meet and generous to a tee. Peggy had a soft spot in her heart for cats, and on any given day she would be in her kitchen whipping up a delicious meal for them.
She was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church and is survived by her sister, Linda (Monty) Stanley of Grays, SC, a nephew, Andy Stanley of Grays, SC, and a niece, Adrian Stanley Mancuso (Chris) of Woodstock, Connecticut. Peggy also leaves behind two aunts, Mrs. Barbara Nix Malphrus of Sun City Okatie, SC and Ms. Betty Colletti of Beaufort, SC, one uncle, Mr. Everett Altman, of Charleston, SC, and many loving cousins.
Visitation will be held at Great Swamp Baptist Church at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 12, 2025 with a funeral to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Great Swamp Cemetery.
