Peggy Ann Gerling, 68, of Mattawan, passed away suddenly on Tuesday May 27, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born July 18, 1956, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the daughter of William and Peggy Tyhanic.
Peggy and her husband recently moved to Michigan after living in New Jersey. She worked for U.S. Foods/Sysco for many years as a dedicated and top salesperson. Peggy never kept her feet in one place; she traveled extensively throughout her life and went all over the world! When her children had sports tournaments far away, she took it as an opportunity to see more of the world! Her favorite thing to do was whale watching!
Peggy will be deeply missed by her beloved family and friends. Her selfless and kind soul will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Gerling; daughter, Nicole (Katelyn) Hogue; son, Hunter Gerling; sisters, Linda Kies and Patty (Kevin) Staffa and brothers, William Tyhanic and Russell (Cindy) Tyhanic.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Garry Giles.
