My family moved to Reno in 1970. Our house next door to the Hanfords. Peggy and I started 6th grade together that year. We came of age together during the 70s. I have so many memories of those years -we were inseparable. Campfire girls led by Jean; sledding down Everett and up at the cabin; cutting class to drive around Lake Tahoe with neighbor boys; week nights at the drive in, cruising Virginia street, car races in Carson City; vacationing to southern California and Mexico and so many more. After high school graduation we went our separate paths - Peg moved to DeSoto with Mark and I moved to San Diego with Gary.
I am so thankful for the memories I have and for linking back up with Peggy after Gary and I retired to Indiana. It´s crazy we both ended up working for the same bank thousands of miles apart. Many thanks to Mark for bringing Peg to visit us last year. Treasured memories I´ll hold dear. Our thoughts are with Mark, the boys and their families as well as Jean, Dianna, Eddie and their families.
