Saturday, July 1, 2023, at age 76. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Roger Gilbert, parents, brother, Donald, sisters, Nancy, and Helen. She is survived by her loving children, Laurie (Jim) Otto and Philip Jr. (Cheryl) Sperandio; grandchildren, Nicky Otto, Eric (Brittany) Somers, Philip III (Jess) Sperandio and Madeline Sperandio; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen "Kay" Knauer; father of her children, Philip Sr.; beloved kitties, Queenie, and Mr. Lucky; dear friends.
Peggy was a proud volunteer for Spencerport Ambulance for over 25 years and volunteered for 6 years at Quest School and was known as Grandma to all. She was an avid reader, gardener, enjoyed fireworks and Christmas time. She loved to have fun, make others smile, and above all loved spending quality time with her family.
Peggy's visitation will be held Friday, July 14th 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. Private interment, Fairfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencerport Fire Department in her memory. For more information and to sign her online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com
