Peggy Gillen

Peggy Gillen age 75 of Tusculum passed away peacefully at home on Monday November 3, 2025 after an extended illness. She was the glue that held the family together. She is survived by her husband of 57yrs Jerry Gillen, daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Don Green, granddaughter Jade Green, special nephew whom she thought of like a grandson Justin Harris, 3 brothers Junior and Debbie Harris, Danny and Rita Harris, and Keith Harris, 3 sisters Betty Easter, Phyllis and Jim Rhodes of FL, and Elizabeth Dugger, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Hobart and Estelle Harris, son Jerry Gillen Jr., brothers and sisters Marie Anderson, Clyde Bowman, Ricky Harris, June Carter, and infant Paul Harris. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Saturday November 8, 2025 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Adam Gaddis officiating. She will be laid to rest in Graceland MG at a later date.
