Peggy Hill Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCabe-Roof Funeral Home - Clymer on Mar. 12, 2026.
Peggy L. Hill, 82 of Clymer, a devoted wife, mother, sister , aunt grandmother, caregiver, and friend, passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Peggy lived a life defined by compassion, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to caring for others.
Peggy devoted 46 years of her life to the nursing profession as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She began her career in Labor and Delivery, where she discovered her love for helping bring new life into the world. She often said there was nothing better than babies and puppies. Throughout her long and remarkable career in healthcare, she cared for countless patients and supported many medical teams with her calm presence, skill, and compassionate heart.
While Peggy loved her profession, her greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother who cared for her grandchildren every day while their parents worked. She cherished that time deeply and made sure her grandchildren always knew what family, love, and devotion truly meant. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.
Peggy also had an enormous love for animals, especially dogs. Any dog that crossed her path was welcomed with kindness and care. With Peggy around, no one-person or animal-would ever go hungry. She had a nurturing spirit that naturally cared for everyone around her.
In her final days, Peggy's wish was fulfilled when she returned to the farm where she grew up-a place filled with memories and love. Surrounded by her family, she found peace in the place she called home. The farm also holds the memory of her beloved mother, Margaret Clark, who passed away on March 17, 2017.
Peggy is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents and her firstborn son, Dean Jr whom she carried in her heart always and now is rocking him on Jesus' lap
She leaves behind a devoted and loving husband of 62 years , children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends who will forever remember her kindness, strength, and generous spirit. Peggy's legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched both professionally and personally.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing that Peggy's love will continue to guide us and that she is now resting in the peace of God's eternal care.
*"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day-unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved
