Peggy Jo Turner Obituary
Peggy Jo Turner, age 78 of Baneberry, went home to be with her Lord at Tennova Turkey Creek suddenly on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was a member of First Methodist Church in White Pine. Peggy was a bright light to everyone she came in contact with. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Nana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Molly Shropshire, sisters, Dorothy Moulton, Margie Hubbard, Linda Moneymaker and Pauline Young. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bobby Turner, daughters, Vanessa (Charlie) Johnson, Suzanne (Jason) Menees and Jane (Mark) Parish, son, Lee (Wendy) Turner, grandchildren, Zachary Hancock, Jacob Hancock, Robbie Turner, Spencer Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Andee (Stiel) Lovin, Finn Menees, Adaline Menees and one great-grandchild, Payten Lovin, also several nieces, nephews and other family members, Special Friends, Margaret Macauley and Betty Martin. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at First Methodist Church, White Pine with a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m.
