Peggy Lynn Lund, age 72, went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Peggy was born November 6, 1949, in Natchez, Mississippi to Harold and Dorothy Costley Ellefson. She was a Bookkeeper for Monroe City School Board. Peggy was a member of the Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie and Alpha XI Delta Sorority while attaining her Associate's Degree at LSU. She enjoyed jewelry making, painting, crafting, genealogy, and had a love for animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Ellefson.
Peggy is survived by her children, Harold Davis and wife, Ashley of Aledo, Amy Craft and husband, Dennis of Calhoun, LA, Kimberlee Pierce and husband, Beau of Calhoun, LA, Charles Goodson and wife, Donna of Hawaii; 10 Grandchildren; and 9 Great Grand Children.
Funeral Ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel. Graveside Funeral Service will be held Saturday August 13, 2022, 10:00 a.m., in the Fayette, Mississippi Cemetery.
