Peggy was born on March 15, 1931, in Boonville, Missouri. She spent most of her life in Odessa, Texas, a community she loved and where she built many lifelong friendships. In the last ten years of her life, she lived in Conroe, Texas near her daughter.
Peggy was a strong-willed women with a joyful spirit and a wonderful unforgettable laugh. She loved being around people and cherished time spent with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, golfing, music, caring for her yard, and spending time with her beloved dogs and cat.
A remarkable part of Peggy’s life was her 63 years of sobriety and her dedication to helping others achieve the same through Alcoholics Anonymous. She offered encouragement, friendship and hope to many people over the years, quietly changing lives through her compassion and strength.
Peggy is survived by her children Dr. Michael McCulloch and wife Kathleen. Betty Manning and husband Kendall, along with many friends and loved ones whose lives she touched.
A graveside service celebrating Peggy’s life will be held on April 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor her life.
