Peggy Jean Nolen, age 75 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. She was born March 30, 1950, in the Deventer community of Mississippi County, MO, to the late Vernon Nolen and Louise Parr Nolen. She had worked at various places throughout her life, including Brown Shoe Company in Charleston, MO, Flying J Truck Stop and Charleston Manor, as well as Wyatt Head Start. She was a graduate of Charleston High School. Peggy was baptized many years ago at the former Anniston First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her beautiful flowers. Her greatest joy in life was the love she had for her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed every moment she spent with the little ones.

Peggy is survived by two sons, Craig Archie and William Dixon, both of East Prairie; two brothers, Jimmy and Janice Nolen of rural Charleston and Tommy and JoLita Nolen of East Prairie; and two sisters, Sue Voelker and Carol Chapman, both of Poplar Bluff, MO. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Nolen, Bobby Nolen, and Billy Nolen.

A memorial service is being planned and will be held at Dogwood Cemetery.
