Mrs. Peggy Margaret O'Berry, 59, died Wednesday (June 18, 2025) afternoon at her residence.
She was born April 25, 1966 in Waycross, GA to Avery Lee Corbitt and Pauline Smith Corbitt. She was a homemaker and worked at Michael's Deli. She was a member of Remnant Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Avery Lee Corbitt; and a brother, David Corbitt.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy O'Berry of Waycross, GA; her three daughters, DeAnna Vaughn (Sean) of Waycross, GA, Amanda Crosby (Kenny) of Waycross, GA, and Talia Johnson (Chris) of Brantley County, GA; her grandchildren, Nicholas Vaughn (Makala), Taylor Vaughn, Keagan Hunt (Americus), Kyndall Hunt, Camden Johnson, and Conner Crosby; her great grandchildren, Eilla Vaughn, Weston Driggers, and an expected great grandboy in October; her siblings, Raymond Corbitt, Barbara Taylor, and Sharon Cox (Raymond) all of Waycross, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday (June 28, 2025) at Swamp Road Baptist Church. Memorialization will be by cremation.
