Peggy Mae Rupp, 77, of Wooster, passed away October 11, 2025 at her home, after a short period of declining health.
Peggy was born January 20, 1948 in Maysel, WV to Bonny and Evalyn {Friend} Murphy.
Peggy went to Hillsdale High School and graduated in 1966.
She married Ronald Rupp on December 3, 2011.
Peggy worked many jobs over the years. But her most loved position was when she worked for Wayne County Head Start in Wooster. She loved being able to help the parents with ideas for their children.
Peggy attended Highland Church of God.
Peggy was passionate about decorating for all the holidays. Peggy also enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Peggy would do anything for her two boys and her grandkids who meant everything to her.
Peggy will be deeply missed by her husband Ronald and her dog Teddy along with her children Timothy (Lori) Arnholt of Wooster, David Arnholt of Wooster and significant other Amy Love of Tennessee, Brian Findley (adopted son) of Wooster; her grandchildren Brenton Arnholt of Wooster, Austin (Alaska) Arnholt of Wooster, Caitlyn Arnholt of Wooster, Harley Arnholt of Wooster; brother Danny Murphy of Wooster; sister Rosemary Tettleton of Spring Texas; along with many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, and her former husband Paul Green.
Celebration of Life services will be Saturday October 18, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Parkview Christian Church in Wooster. A light meal will follow the services. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at a later date. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne County Head Start.
