Peggy Lou Stansbury, 74 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on April 24, 2025. She was born in Batesville, Indiana on June 21, 1950, to Charles Edward Sheldon and Mary Louisa Dunn. Peggy graduated from Sylmar High School. She married Jerry Stansbury in California in 1968 and they were together until his passing in 2019. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going to the beach, fishing, camping and being outdoors.

Peggy is survived by daughters, Serena Stansbury and Mary Childers and husband, Charles Childers; grandchildren, Kayla Renee Boudreau, Keith Anthony Boudreau and Katelyn Marie Boudreau; great-grandchildren, Alexis Marie Bingham, Hayliegh Boudreau, Cash Land, Blake Boudreau, Colt Land and Richard Boudreau; siblings, Ralph Sheldon, Sherry Larson, Cindy Yudico and Tammy Gauthier along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Gainesville. At this time no services are scheduled.
