Peggy Taylor, 73, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, surrounded by family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Even through all the pain she always put others first and would do anything she could to help anyone. She was born on August 2, 1951, with her twin sister Patricia in Kansas City to Margie and Sam Stringfellow. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family telling and listening to stories. Peggy lit up the room with her smile and kindness. She loved making people happy and would do anything she could to help anyone. A devoted mother of two Patrick Dean Taylor and Karen Dawn Taylor (T.J. Wombacher) and grandmother of two Michael Dean and Melissa Dawn. Peggy loved all of her family and her fur babies. She had a soft spot for all animals. Peggy is survived by her children, grandchildren, three sisters Patricia Collier, Nancy DiiBon, and Debbie (James) Moore. One brother-in-law Jim Moore. One sister-in-law Betty Stringfellow, and many nieces and nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, sister Judy Moore, brother Mike Stringfellow, brother Bob Wheeler, and sister-in-law Rita Wheeler. Funeral services will be Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookfield with Fr. C. Paschal Ihediohamma officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Brookfield. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
