Peggy Ann Vann, age 93 of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 18, 2025, at The Residence of Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock pm, Tuesday, July 22th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. James Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View United Methodist Cemetery with Mickey Dyce, Tim Key, Greg Moulton, Dennis Gilmore, Jeff Ellis, and Tommy O'Heron serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 22th from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 2:00PM. Mrs. Vann was born on October 22, 1931 in Cedar Hill, Tennessee to the late Martin & Annie Winters. She retired after 20 years in accounting for Baird Ward Printing Co. She was an avid square dancer and enjoyed traveling in her later years. Mrs. Peggy was an Atlanta Braves fan. She loved her family and grandchildren dearly and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Vann, Jr.; brothers, Willard Winters and Abo Winters; great-grandson, Bailey Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Susan Vann. She is survived by her son, Jerry Vann; daughter, Susan (Roger) Johnson; grandchildren, Michelle (Dewayne) Wright, Jay Johnson, and Amanda (Bob) Fair; great-grandchildren, Lauren (Gavin) White and Jessi Wright; great-great grandchildren, Wesley Taylor White and Anderson Katherine White; and loving nieces and nephews. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Peggy's memory to The Residence of Alive Hospice, 1629 Williams Dr., Murfreesboro, Tn 37129.
