Peggy Ann Wimberly

Peggy Adams Wimberly, age 78, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with dementia. Peggy was the beloved daughter of George and Kathleen Adams, who preceded her in death.

Peggy is survived by her devoted husband, Tom Wimberly, stepson Kevin (Angie) Wimberly, her sisters, Judy (Tony) Daniel, Regina (Keith) Bell, Katrina (Larry) Echols, and her brother Danny Adams. Peggy's legacy lives on through many adoring nieces and nephews and a host of grand-nieces and grand-nephews, all of whom brought her immense joy. 

Peggy had a life-long career working as an Insurance Executive and worked for Marsh before her retirement. Peggy will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, true friend, and follower of Christ. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Peggy loved playing the piano for her Church.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, with the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Madison Funeral Home, 219 E. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Olive Branch Strategic, 3176 Stark Street, Greenbrier, TN 37073.
