Penny Lee Eves

Penny Lee Eves, age 58 of Kirksville, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Boone County Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Penny was born July 29, 1967 in Kirksville, MO. She is survived by her mother Glenda Kolb of the home, brother Jeremy Kolb and wife Robin of Kirksville, MO, grandmother Joan Rackers of LaPlata Nursing Home, two nephews Anthony and Andrew Kolb, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Stephen Kolb, and grandparents Edgar Rackers and James and Betty Kolb.

Penny attended Kirksville Public Schools. She was then employed by High Hope Employment Services for 30 years. She was a resident of LaPlata Nursing Home at the time of her passing.

Penny enjoyed her family and spending time with them. Swimming was a favorite summertime activity and word search puzzles were an enjoyable daily pastime for her.

When you think of Penny remember that “love is like the wind, you can’t see it, but you can feel it”.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of Penny’s life will happen at a later date.
